The checkride prep problem

Public data, locked behind a wall — or buried in 800 pages

Everything a DPE can ask you is already free and public. It's just impossible to navigate when it counts.

😤 The status quo

  • Re-buy a single-rating study guide at every step — Private, then Instrument, then Commercial…
  • Flip through massive FAA PDFs with dead page-number links
  • Annotated "cheat sheets" a strict examiner can disallow on the spot
  • Pay again every time the FAA updates a handbook

🔑 With ACS MasterKey

  • The complete Private Pilot ACS — tap any task, jump straight to the governing reg or handbook page
  • Verbatim FAA source text — the official reference, examiner-safe in the oral
  • Links recompile and self-heal when the FAA updates — never go dead
  • 🎁 Founding bonus: lock in every future rating module free for life
How it works

Built like avionics, not a textbook

A programmatic engine compiles the free public-domain FAA library into one searchable, ultra-light study guide you can open on any device.

🔗

Every ACS task, searchable

Every Private Pilot ACS element mapped to the exact passage in the PHAK, AFH, IFH, FAR/AIM, and the rest of the FAA library. Tap a task, land on the answer's source.

📱

Study on any device

Open it in ForeFlight Documents or any PDF reader — offline, no app, no login. Study on your iPad, phone, or laptop, anywhere.

♻️

Self-healing links

Built on permanent named destinations, not page numbers. When the FAA drops an update, the engine recompiles and every link stays intact.

Built by a pilot, for pilots

Hey, I'm Josh — a pilot out of North Texas. I built ACS MasterKey because checkride prep shouldn't mean flipping through 800-page PDFs while a DPE stares you down. It's the tool I wanted: the entire FAA reference library, hyperlinked and searchable.

No venture capital, no corporate suite — just built by a pilot, for pilots.

Questions, answered

Is it really legal to use during my checkride?
Yes — in the oral/practical exam, FAA-approved references are allowed. ACS MasterKey is the verbatim FAA source text with navigation added, so it qualifies as official reference material. (The separate knowledge/written test is closed-book.)
What exactly am I buying — and what's the "bonus"?
You're buying the complete Private Pilot ACS module, available the moment you pay. As a founding-member bonus, your purchase also locks in lifetime access and free updates to every future rating module — Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII, and Multi-Engine — added to your vault free as each is developed. No second purchase, ever. Founding buyers are grandfathered at today's price; later we may charge per module.
How do I use it?
After purchase you'll download the PDF and import it into ForeFlight's Documents tab. Tap any ACS task and it jumps straight to the source page — fully offline. See the 60-second ForeFlight setup guide. A 30-second setup guide is included on the first page.
Will the links break when the FAA updates the handbooks?
No. The guide is built on permanent named destinations rather than page numbers. When the FAA revises a handbook, the engine recompiles and your links stay intact — and you get the update free.
Does it work on Android / iPad / paper?
It's a standard PDF, so it opens anywhere — but it's optimized for ForeFlight on the iPad, where the tap-to-jump links shine. Works in any modern PDF reader.
What's your refund policy?
Because it's a digital product delivered instantly and watermarked to you, all sales are final — you'll confirm that at checkout. But we stand behind it working: if your copy won't open or a link is broken, email us and we'll fix it or re-send your copy, fast. See our refund policy.
